Hello and welcome to Qurly Que a CFA Cattery of Excellence. My name is Tracey Waugh and my family and I live in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
We started our Cattery just two short years ago where we were on a quest for a solid chocolate Persian. That is where I met Judy Rautio of Maurista Cattery in Beavercreek Ohio. Judy has been breeding Himalayans for close to 20 years and she fast became my mentor and very dear friend. This is where we got our "Emmie and Ava".
Our goal from the beginning has been to produce the healthiest and most loving as well as some of the best Chocolates and Lilac.
Qurly Que is a closed Cattery and we raise our kittens underfoot with lots of
love and cuddles. All of our kittens are placed with a written health guarantee, and a contract for pet, breeder, and show quality kittens. Kittens never leave our home before 12 weeks. They are feed Royal Canin. We never send a kitten out and forget about it. We love to get pictures and calls to keep us updated on our babies!
From time to time we have cats in our breeding program that we will place as pets with the right person. These are not cats we no longer want but cats that we want to have a special place in the sun.
Selkirk Rex's come in longhair and shorthair and yes some can even be straight hair. We are currently working with solid and pointed and are very excited to be introducing bicolors, calicos and smokes in the near future!
At this time I would like to announce the wonderful addition to Qurly Que, Kathie Tholen of Destinos Cattery. I could not have begun this journey without the constant support and knowledge Kathie has given me. I also need to thank Kathie for taking this "newbie" under her wing and telling me I could do this and do it well.
